Why Kirameki?
Derived from the Japanese word kira kira (キラキラ), meaning "shining," and meki (めき), which represents growth, community, and possibility. Kirameki (煌めき) represents a vision for a shining community, shining ideas, and a shining village.
Mission Statement
Kirameki's mission is centered around supporting both the visitors and the local community via revitalizing the countryside, by offering visitors an opportunity to experience the enchanting culture of the Japanese countryside.
This rich variety of the traditions in our village in Hiroshima offer exciting activities and culturally rich stays that leave impactful memories on each of our visitors. Through our restoration and coordination with properties in the area, supporting the village's local economy, and promoting cultural exchange and appreciation, we are aiming to preserve culture and create an ideal future for the world!

Our Vision
Tourism in Japan is centered around Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. Kirameki, based in Kitahiroshima, is anchored around attracting tourists from all over the world, including Japanese citizens, to experience hidden gems across Japan. We aim to combat over-tourism with an emphasis on the importance of connecting with locals, giving tourists a holistic experience true to its people.
Simultaneously, by promoting life in the countryside, we are actively alleviating the issue of depopulation in sensitive locations in Japan, by offering services and resources for Japanese citizens and foreigners to support rural revitalization projects across Japan.
Altogether, Kirameki is looking to revitalize rural Japan, all while keeping it sustainable for the generations to come
